Adenoidectomy

This is a surgery performed to remove your child’s adenoids. The adenoids are masses of lymph tissue which play an important role in your child’s immunity. They are located in the throat and fight bacteria and viruses that enter your child’s body. The adenoids usually shrink as the child grows, and are gone by adulthood.
